As her work expanded, Nell became a globally respected advocate for embedding ethics and human rights into artificial intelligence systems. She is Chair of the IEEE’s ECPAIS Transparency Experts Focus Group and Vice Chair of the IEEE P7001 Standard for Transparency in Autonomous Systems.
