Our annual leadership conference is held in a different capital city between Europe, Asia and the Americas every year. Speaker Ideas have never let us down in finding keynote speakers to meet the brief and also speakers to provide a ‘local’ flavour.

When our directly-sourced keynote speaker backed out with a week to go before our client summit, Eithne and her team came to the rescue with a quick shortlist of alternative and available candidates from which we were able to find a suitable fallback speaker. We’ve been involving Speaker Ideas right from the start of our planning process since then.

About Speaker Ideas

Based out of Amsterdam, over the past quarter century we have a built a global network that allows us to connect our clients to the most relevant and engaging experts and thought leaders who inspire, educate, challenge and entertain their audiences around the world both on stage and in live and recorded online  events.

Online and virtual gatherings have always played a role in some of our client’s meeting and events plans.  With COVID-19 enforcing the widespread cancellation and postponement of these gatherings, and with most global organisations having to lead some, if not all of their people in working from home, our offerings in the area of virtual and hybrid events are increasingly seen as a means to reinforce a sense of community amongst our clients’ staff and stakeholders.

The boutique nature of Speaker Ideas ensures highly personalised attention to both speakers and clients, from the first conversations about event objectives, through the speaker selection, logistics and briefing process and ending with a post-event debriefing.  We keep things simple.

Speaker Ideas is a proud founding member of the EASB (European Association of Speaker Bureaux).
Speaker Ideas is run by Eithne Jones, who is originally from Roscommon, Ireland.

After graduating with a degree in Japanese & International Marketing from Dublin City University, Eithne moved to Japan where she spent two years as a Coordinator of International Relations in Kawaguchi City Hall, followed by a further two years in Tokyo with a consulting & training organisation, providing tailored business communication programs for executives from Japan’s top 100 companies.

In 1996, Eithne saw an opportunity in Tokyo for a speaker bureau that would represent and connect a select number of local and international experts and thought leaders with organisers of conferences and events both in Japan and overseas.  Four years later she moved to the Netherlands and established a base near Amsterdam from where Speaker Ideas has expanded its network of clients and speakers globally and is currently serving clients in over 50 countries and across all the major industries and sectors.

Eithne is a founding member of the European Association of Speaker Bureaus (EASB), and has been a long-standing Board member of the Ireland Netherlands Business Association.
