In May 2024, he became the first person this century to complete a fully human-powered journey from Death Valley to Denali, covering 3,588 miles in 64 days. This record-breaking feat, part of his ambitious ‘Ultimate Seven’ project, was featured by the BBC, The Times, National Geographic and Red Bull. In early 2025, he added another milestone with a 2,784km journey from South America’s lowest point, Laguna del Carbón, to the summit of Aconcagua in just 34 days.
Other expeditions include a solo 8,000-mile mountaineering journey from Hong Kong to Istanbul, a 400-mile solo winter crossing of Siberia’s Lake Baikal, and a 1,634-mile journey from Djibouti’s Lac Assal to the summit of Kilimanjaro. Along the way, he has faced avalanches, earthquakes, spies, interrogators, and severe illness, always maintaining a flawless safety record for those under his leadership.
